Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

We reserve parking for visitors almost directly in front of the church, just look for the visitor signs in front of the parking spaces. If all the guest spaces are full, please park anywhere in our parking lot, or in the parking lots of the buildings that are next to the church, and across the street from the church. Also, feel free to park in the rear parking lot of Fresh Market, which is at the corner of Peachtree and Peachtree Park Drive.

How do I dress?

Dress comfortably. Some wear their "Sunday best" but most people wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship, teaching and fellowship!

"Don't worry about what you wear -- just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship, teaching and fellowship!"

What do I bring?

Just yourself and family or friends. If you wish to bring a Bible, that is always a help. We use the English Standard Version (E.S.V.) but bring whatever version you have. If you don't have a Bible, or forgot yours, they are available in the seat racks underneath the chairs in the sanctuary.

When do I need to arrive?

Services, children's programs and study programs begin at 9:15 and 11:00 am. If you have children, please arrive 15 minutes before services to allow for parking and settling your children. If you don't have children, please arrive 5-10 minutes before services begin.

What are services like, and how long do they last?

Typically, 80-90 minutes. All our services are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere of reverence for our God and fellowship with each other. There is congregational participation in word and song throughout our liturgy. Our choice of hymns is always related to the scripture that is being preached that day. Modern and traditional hymns or songs are usually well balanced in each service. The preaching of God's word from the Bible forms the focal point of worship and is always applied to challenge us in our Christian life and witness for Christ.

Where do my children go?

There is a Children's Check-In office immediately off the church foyer, and volunteers there will assist you in getting your children to the right class or room. We take security very seriously here at ChristChurch, and your children must be registered before entering their class or room. Additional security measures are in place in our sanctuary and Education Building to ensure the safety of every attendee.
