We are committed to serving the Lord in every area of life. What we call “mercy ministries” are many and varied acts of service and caring with which we are involved both inside and outside the church. The Bible reminds us so often to look after the needs of others:
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, and the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27
The deacons oversee Mercy Ministries. They administer the funds, and they oversee and assist with special needs. As a church we give time, financial aid and other resources to many different ministry opportunities.

A few of the mercy ministries that we are involved with are:
Signature Healthcare of Buckhead – a rehabilitation facility just across the street from our church
Shepherd Friends - an outreach to patients and their families at Shepherd Center, a nearby brain and spinal hospital
Peachtree Highrise – an assisted living facility for the elderly and disabled, down the street
