Vision
The ChristChurch Arts Ministry exists to glorify God our creator and to celebrate the beauty of creation. We seek to identify and incorporate ChristChurch’s diverse talents to serve the church body in worship and provide outreach opportunities to our community.
Genema Gallery
In keeping with our mission, Genema Gallery, located in the Christ Church foyer, displays quarterly exhibits of local artists’ works. From photography to oils, from watercolors to mixed media, these exhibits have become a mainstay of the Arts Ministry, both to the artist and to those who come through our doors.
ChristChurch Orchestra
A variety of talents are represented by our ChristChurch musicians including strings, winds, brass, percussion, and keyboard. We are thrilled at the 20+ individuals who participate in the church orchestra, which plays quarterly for worship as a whole, accompanies the ChristChurch Theatre and Choir, and lends musicians to accompany our weekly worship services.
ChristChurch Theatre
On October 7-9, 2010, we held the debut production of the ChristChurch Theatre, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” The event highlighted actors, singers, set designers/painters, directors, and orchestral players, all from within ChristChurch.
Buckhead Ballet
The purpose of the Buckhead Ballet is to provide training in the art of traditional classical ballet, while giving students the opportunity to experience dance as a form of ministry to others and praise to God.
