Monday, January 23

  • Relevant, 7:00-9:30 pm (1760 Peachtree St NW) Relevant is a new opportunity for graduate students to join together with other graduate students for a dialogue on politics, the economy, social issues, and other current events in the context of the Christian faith.

Wednesday, January 25

  • Women’s AM Bible Studies, 9:30-11:30 am (Sanctuary). Childcare provided by RSVP only. Email women@ccpnet.org to ask questions and for childcare sign-up.
    • Interactive Study of Galatians: We’ll dig into Galatians to learn how God’s grace produces fruit that impacts all our relationships. “Discipleship in Action” times will open new avenues for honing our gifts and honoring and enjoying God in surprising ways. Group prayer is incorporated into each session. Led by various women
    • Inductive Study of 1 Corinthians: Using the inductive Bible study method – observation, interpretation and application – we will learn who we are in Christ and how to walk in God’s ways. There is homework to complete, but no one checks up on you!  Study time is followed by small group prayer. Led by Shawn Gutteridge
  • wednesdayconnect: Women’s PM Connect Groups, 7-9pm (Education Bldg)
    • Interactive Study of Hebrews (Every other week, the study hour, 7-8 pm, alternates with churchwide prayer meetings.)

Thursday, January 26

  • Moms and Tots Playgroup, 10:45 am (1760 Peachtree Street). For moms with tots four and under.
  • Veritas Forum, 7:00 pm (Clough Commons room 144 at GA Tech) Featuring Satyan Devadoss, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Williams College. For more information, visit www.veritas.org/gatech.

Saturday, January 28

  • CCP Youth Winter Dance, 5:30pm drop-off (Youth Hanger), 8:30pm pick-up (youth hanger) For middle & high schoolers. A special youth group night where we will dance away the night, so bring your dancing shoes. Invite friends :)

Sunday, January 29

Sunday Sermon: “Thirsting for God” – Psalm 42-43

9:15 am:

  • Worship Service in the Sanctuary
  • Children’s Church for K-3rd graders after dismissal from the service
  • Nursery care for infants-4 year olds
  • Adult Sunday School:
    • The Truth Project – Led by Eleazar Kenyon & Jason Cannon
    • It Ain’t Greek to Me! – Led by Jared Eubanks

11:00 am:

  • Worship Service in the Sanctuary
  • Children’s Sunday School for 3 year olds-5th graders
  • Nursery care for infants and toddlers
  • Adult Sunday School:
    • Studies in the Book of Judges – Led by Ken Culpepper
    • Heaven – Led by Jonathan Crabb
    • Membership Class – Led by Various Elders (1st and 2nd Sunday of every month)

- Lunch after Church, 12:30 pm (Education Bldg)

- Young Adults Lunch, 1:00 pm (Offsite location TBD)

- Foster Hope Launch, 6:30 – 8:00pm (Sanctuary): Join us for the launch of ChristChurch’s new orphan and foster care ministry, Foster Hope. We will be hearing about how ANYONE can be involved in caring for Atlanta’s children in foster care, whether by being a foster parent or providing diapers or driving a child to an appointment. - Youth Group Night, 5:30-8:30pm (Youth Hanger) Just a reminder we are restarting our weekly Youth Nights this Sunday! It will be a good time of playing games and getting into the Word of God. For middle & high school students.
