What to Expect

Sunday morning services are at 9:15 & 11 am, and evening services are held twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 6:30 pm.

Where do I park?

We reserve parking for visitors almost directly in front of the church; just look for the guest signs. If those spots are full, please park anywhere in our parking lot, in the lots of surrounding buildings, or in the rear parking lot of Fresh Market (at the corner of Peachtree Road and Peachtree Park Drive).

How do I dress?

Dress comfortably. Some wear their “Sunday best”, but most people wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship, teaching and fellowship!

What do I bring?

Just yourself and family or friends. If you wish to bring a Bible, that is always helpful! We use the English Standard Version (E.S.V.) but bring whatever version you have. If you don’t have a Bible, or if you forget yours, they are available in the seat racks underneath the chairs in the Sanctuary.

When do I need to arrive?

Services, children’s programs and Sunday School classes begin at 9:15 and 11:00 am. If you have children, please arrive 15 minutes early to find parking and settle your children. If you don’t have children, please arrive 5-10 minutes early.

What are services like, and how long do they last?

Typically, 80-90 minutes. All our services are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere of reverence for our God and fellowship with each other. There is congregational participation in word and song throughout our liturgy. The preaching of God’s word from the Bible forms the focal point of worship and is always applied to challenge us in our Christian life and witness for Christ. Our choice of hymns is always related to the scripture that is being preached that day. Modern and traditional hymns or songs are usually well balanced in each service.

Where do my children go?

There is a Children’s Welcome Desk immediately off the church foyer to the right, and volunteers there will assist you in getting your children to the right classroom. We take security very seriously here at ChristChurch, and your children must be registered before entering their class or room. Additional security measures are in place in our Sanctuary and Education Building to ensure the safety of every attendee.
